What is H.M.A.T.T?
Hidayah Mesco Arabic Teachers Training (H.M.A.T.T) institute is affiliated with the leading institute MESCO in Hyderabad, that has proven to be pioneer in the field of creating standard Arabic teacher’s training module. H.M.A.T.T institute was founded in the year 2009. So far H.M.A.T.T has trained more than 250 teachers, who have been placed in numerous schools in the Dakshina Kannada Region, imparting the knowledge of Arabic language to more than 30,000 children.
Why was H.M.A.T.T established?
It is obvious that development of any society depends much on education. Education empowers people, providing with strong analytical and problem solving skills. These skills are used to overcome challenges that a given society faces. Quality education outcomes are dependent upon quality teachers who are the main actors in the teaching and learning process.
Our region has witnessed the start of 130 Muslim managed primary, higher primary schools and colleges in the last 20 years. Many challenges are also attached to it such as uniform module of functioning, ratio of religious and contemporary syllabus, quality management, parent and student management etc. Crucial amongst all above is the shortage of uniformly trained teachers and particularly Quranic Arabic Teachers.
What is MESCO?
Muslim Educational Social and Cultural Organization (MESCO) is an organization of highly qualified educationalists and doctors, along with various fields of social work. Based in Hyderabad, they have also promoted the language of arabicas movement of “learn & teach”. With lots of hard work and fine tuning with various scholars from India and Saudi Arabia, they came up with the best of the syllabus which could suite the requirements of the primary level up to the high school level. Alhamdulillah it’s a pleasure to say that this syllabus has been adapted by the national institute of open schooling. Govt. of India & abroad & on the process to be recognized by the CBSE in sha Allah. Since 2009 they are training males and females from all over the country and have educated more than 1000 students including Alims and Huffaz from all the parts of the world.
